THE RECKLESS UPSTARTS z kanadského Ontaria vznikli v roce 2013 a jejich nejnovější E.P. „Glory“ je koprodukce mezi Contra a Insurgence Records. „The Reckless Upstarts hrají mix poctivého, dělnického street punku a antifašistického Oi!“ – to je jejich vlastní popis a to je přesně to, co dostanete. Pokud jde o hudbu, občas připomínají kapely jako STREET DOGS nebo ONE MAN ARMY, jejich texty pojednávají o každodenním boji dělnické třídy, kritizují kapitalismus („Dying For A Living Wage“) a drží vysoko původní ideály S.H.A.R.P. – mnohem méně trapným způsobem, než jak jej dnes můžete slyšet někde jinde. When it comes to the music, the band sometimes reminds to bands such as STREET DOGS or ONE MAN ARMY, their lyrics deal with the daily struggle of the Working Class, criticize capitalism („Dying For A Living Wage“) and hold high the original ideals of the S.H.A.R.P. movement – in a much less embarrassing way like you can hear it somewhere else these days.
