LP + CD Klasse Kriminale & 17100 Kids – La Grande Truffa Di Savona

Going strong for nearly 35 years(!), Klasse Kriminale is nothing less than a classic, legendary band – period. Though the phrase ‘I like their old stuff better…’ definitely applies, the kings of Italian Oi! And streetpunk still know how to produce killer, ultra-catchy tunes, as once again provided on “La Grande Truffa Di Savona”! Despite it being a shared release, this LP from 2017 is still the band’s last full-length release and features a total of six of their tracks, including instant-favorites “80, Punk St.”, “Figli Della Classe Operaia” and “Dove siamo Finiti 2017” – love it!

Although originally formed back in 1994 to record the track “L’Italia Siamo Noi” for the “Oi! Against Silvio” compilation, it wasn’t until 2016 that the 17100 Kids returned. Though the line-up is always on rotation, the band’s line-up on this record consists out of (ex-)members of bands such as Cervelli Stanki, Klasse Kriminale and Drunken Nuns – something you definitely hear back in the band’s sound! All five tracks are boisterous, tight and sound great – and includes a 2017 re-edition of the aforementioned track.

Limited to 350 copies (all on black vinyl), the vinyl includes a free CD with the same tracklist, comes in a nice, glossy sleeve and includes a sheet with lyrics in both Italian and translated into English. Good stuff!
